Position Details

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner to facilitate end-to-end site recruitment, partnering with hiring managers to deliver high-quality hires aligned with the organisation’s talent strategy. 

 

This role also contributes to the continuous improvement & facilitation of our onboarding process, driving retention initiatives, maintaining HR compliance, supporting other sites remotely as required and may involve occasional travel for recruitment activities.

 

Responsibilities

As the Talent Acquisition Partner, you will work with the HR & Operations teams to manage end to end recruitment & address workforce planning and hiring needs. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • End-to-end recruitment: advertising, shortlisting, screening, interviewing, pre-employment checks & offers.
  • Coordinate interviews and support selection decisions.
  • Develop & maintain local talent pipelines.
  • Build relationships with local education providers & community networks.
  • Support the onboarding process, including coordination of inductions, buddy systems & onboarding materials.
  • Conduct routine check-ins with new starters to provide support and gather feedback.
  • Provide HR & operations teams with data & insights regarding recruitment & retention trends to inform talent strategy.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment (preferably internal)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships.
  • Confidence in liaising with Hiring Managers, influencing hiring decisions & providing new starter feedback.
  • Understanding of employer branding, EVP & strategic recruitment practices.
  • A warm, professional and polished approach to recruitment & onboarding.
  • Excellent attention to detail across job advertising, correspondence, compliance checks & offers.
  • Strong computer literacy and demonstrated experience using an ATS or HR System (iCIMS or similar highly regarded). 
  • Knowledge of recruitment compliance & employment legislation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • Current National Police Check & Drivers Licence.

You’ll stand out if you have:

  • Previous experience in aged care or healthcare environment.
  • Experience in onboarding, engagement and retention initiatives
